How To View in AR

You'll need a smart phone with a camera, and you'll be asked to download an app called ArtPlacer.
Just follow the instructions in this video.
Either on your tablet or smartphone with a front facing camera
Choose a painting you like in Rachel Solimeno's originals
Click on the artwork image to open the product page
If there are multiple thumbnail images below the painting, make sure you selected the first image (this should show the painting front-on and with no room context)
Click the green View AR button below the description
Scan the QR code with your smartphone to install or launch the ArtPlacer app
The ArtPlacer app will open to a page displaying the painting you selected
Point your phone camera at the wall
Take three steps back from the wall
Point your camera at the floor towards the wall
Move the camera in circles until you see a red line
Move the camera up til the line meets the bottom of the wall. click next
You'll now see the painting to scale on your wall
Using your finger, move the painting around to the spot you like
Click frames menu (top right) to view framing ideas
You can share or download a photo of the painting on your wall
Note that frames are not provided with the painting but are for research purposes if you plan to frame the painting later.
How To Try in Room Without AR
If you don't want to install an app you can also Try In Room. Simply follow instructions below. Before you start you'll need to have a photo of your wall/room ready to upload. This can be done from any computer or phone.
Choose a painting you like in Rachel Solimeno's originals
Click on the artwork image to open it's store product page
If there are multiple thumbnail photos of the painting, make sure you selected the first image.
Click the green Try In Room button below the description
Click Upload Photo Button
Upload a photo of your room or wall area
Click Save and Continue
Skip the help or click next to read through
Click on the wall to define your space
Expand the area box by dragging the handles to your defined area
Enter the height of your defined area in the text box (to right of slider)
Hit enter and make sure the height is updated in inches.
(Or use the height slider to define the height)
Click Done
Click Save and Continue
You'll now see the painting to scale on your wall
Drag to move the painting around to the spot you like
Choose framing options by clicking "frames" menu in the top right
Click download to save a photo of the painting on your wall
If you are making a joint decision on buying a painting, sharing this photo could be helpful. You can also view some different framing ideas if you plan to frame the painting after purchasing it. Note that the frames are not provided by the artist.
