These Bubble Beings are about finding the balance, bringing joy and zen reflection in troubled times. Each original painting features a stack of bubbles holding a pose with bright colored shiny reflections. The bubbles are holding together in a weightless fragile balancing act, like a 'cairn' pebble or rock stack. Each bubble is beautiful in it's own right and together they form a human like character or bubble being, each telling a different story. For me, bubbles are short lived beautiful creatures that reflect the beauty that still exists in the world. During the pandemic and these last couple of years I started blowing bubbles in order to find balance and peace. Blowing bubbles reminds us that there is a simple pleasure of being. To breath out and and watch bubbles float away changing colors brings a child like joy and calm.
