Palm Desert Quartet 12x48"

Painted on a quartet of four 12x12 canvas panels, this painting is an abstracted view of people sitting in deck chairs by a pool yet unkowingly submerged in the rising water as if they are seated at the bottom of the ocean or swimming pool. I painted this during the pandemic during the imposed quarantine. The people are socially distanced, separated in space and by the physical break in panels.
