My Grandmother 'Bollo' was photographed in the 50s in this iconic pose but was a forward thinking go-getter who lived her life beyond the male gaze. Growing up without a Mother, she had to create her own reality.  She supported my art and my dreams and so she merges with one of my paintings 'alternate realites'. Now the dream is a reality and this is for all the dreamers out there.
