Anne of Cleves By Night, Oil on Canvas, 16x20", 2020

This Portrait was made of the British Criminal Barrister Robert Rinder MBE. He sat during the pandemic lockdown as a guest sitter on Sky TV's Portrait artist of the week show in the UK. Rob Rinder is a superb human and philanthropist in so many ways. It was an honor to paint him. During the portrait sitting he described how he loved teaching British kids about Tudors and Stuarts and history, and also loved dressing up as Anne of Cleves, famously painted by Holbein as Henry VIII's court portait painter.
