This collection includes a set of original paintings on the themes of motherhood, climate change and care for the planet and our next generation. Abstracted watery landscpes contain isolated figures or windfarms painted in layers of acrylic and oil paint. Palm trees in a desert are upside down. Bright colored exteriors or calm reflection at first sight, but something is not quite right. The children seemed oblivious but now live with a constant existential threat. I use time series and repeatition in the New Generation series to explore multiple possible outcomes as we can determine how the story ends.
